| Dang...4 months since I've blogged. Repulsive. Oh well, I've kept myself pretty stinkin' busy the past few months with all sorts of things. All of which are exciting actually. I cannot wait to have a little more time to detail everything that is in the mix for '06. God has truly blessed and continues to be faithful.
One of the bigger tidbits of news from this corner of the world is that we've put our house up for sale, which I'm finding out is no small task. Thankfully, we have a beautiful home and in great condition, so selling should not be too bad. If any of you 'Apexers' are interested in living 4 doors down from The Turners (yes, capital on both), or across the street from the infamous Dustin Burke of The Dustin Burke Band, or a quarter mile north of Amanda Z, Matt J. and Ian D., ...then hit me back and I can shoot you the info. It's a perfect home for a young couple starting out. Feel free to pass it on. (mo@lwwconline.com)
Plenty happening in the Christian Music community too. Check out my most recent signing, a band out of Nashville called The Turning. Fans of Tree63, Delirious, U2 and Chris Tomlin should enjoy. http://www.turningmusic.com Album releases June 6th.
Until next time! | | |
| Only a few more weeks, and the year is done for. This could quite simply be the quickest year of my life. Easily. The unit of time known as a year is really not that long at all. I use to think it was forever, ha...not quite. One year, broken into 12 increments seems to go by faster then ever. However, it's not over yet...so perhaps I shall not speak of it's demise until it's indeed completed.

So, Fireflight finally hits the studio in about a month...first week of January! I couldn't be more excited about it if I tried. The band has worked their tails off to get here, and still more work to be done. I will keep you posted of the progress. Look for some sweet things from them in '06. Right now I'm going through a slew of demos, combing out their best 10 songs, in my opinion.
Make these next few weeks some of the best ever. Read. Set. Go. No regrets.
| Character, integrity, humility,...all things hard to come by these days from individuals. Especially people you would expect it from, you know? Pride is repulsive. | | |
| Are you kidding me, November 11th, already. I know, pretty lame...I start out every entry shocked at how much time has passed since me previous entry. Point being, time flies when your having fun, or busy, or both. It's just very hard to believe that '05 is coming to an end. I won't write it off just yet...but it's getting close.
Too much going on the explain right now, but lots of thing in the mix, both good and bad...depending on your perspective. Right now we're busy setting up the Fireflight album release...which isn't until May '06, but the planning begins now. We are so excited to introduce this band to the market. They are amazing individuals and artists. I'm priveleged to be on their team. Be on the lookout, or check them out now - http://www.fireflightrock.com and http://www.myspace.com/fireflight.
I need to post a new pic, that's for sure...perhaps this weekend. (yea right, ha)
Press on. | | |
| Well, at least I'm consistent....posting about every 2-3 weeks. I know, I know...completely unacceptable. Life is just that way, so busy, so determined, so fast. All filled with good things, but somehow it ignores time and moves like a freight train forward.
So finally, the cool autumn weather has arrived. Another season change. I love it. I need it. Brings closure the season previous and sets a benchmark for things to come. I'm ready to smell the fragrance of dead leaves and the chills of chilly north-westernly winds out of Montana. The colors it brings I think justifies the cold rains of October and November. However, still plenty of green around here...a few more cold weeks like this and the canvas will change.
Not much to say really...not that it matters since noone reads this anywho. Things are good. Opportunity is presenting itself in a variety of ways and I couldn't be more excited. So many things that solidify my calling, my desires and my passions. I press foward without reservation and expect God to show me great and mighty things that I couldn't even think or imagine.
I'm gonna enoy the weather today...you do the same.
